Barney Ross' (Sylvester Stallone) Stunt Holster Belt and Custom Buckle from the production of Stallone’s 2012 action / adventure sequel, The Expendables II. Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) and his ‘Expendables’ return on a mission for revenge after one of their own is murdered by an even tougher enemy than before. Barney is seen wearing a holster belt, complete with custom buckle, throughout the film’s explosive opening as he bounds from a tower and zip-lines down run of cables. Belts were specially designed for stunt performers during such intense sequences, these stunt versions were crafted before the hero pieces were put into production.
Made of leather, this piece has been dyed black to suit the Expendables’ covert clothing style and comes equipped with a holster on either side of the hip as well as a smaller one attached to the back of the belt. The hip holsters have leg straps to secure them to the wearer’s thigh. The buckle is composed of brass and features the team’s skull and raven logo engraved into its face.
This item shows some distress from production use but remains in good overall condition.
