A stop-motion puppet of the melting Deadite form of Scott (Richard DeManincor) from the production of Sam Raimi's Evil Dead II. The sequel's recap of the first Evil Dead film was originally planned to include the Deadite Scott melting as he did at the end of the previous film, but it was ultimately decided to focus solely on Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) and Linda (Denise Bixler). While DeManincor had portrayed the character in the first film, Scott's brief appearance in the sequel was going to be achieved using a combination of stand-ins and stop-motion puppetry.

This puppet, from the personal collection of special effects artist Tom Sullivan, is made of resin with a wood and metal armature. It depicts the chest-up portion of the Deadite form of Scott mid-scream, with pointed ears and bulging temple veins. It has been painted gray with white eyes, yellow teeth, and a red mouth; features adhered brown hair on the front of the top of the head; and is dressed in a blue, green, black, white, and yellow button-up flannel shirt. It exhibits some cracking and flaking in the paint throughout. Dimensions: 16.5" x 7.5" x 12" (42 cm x 19.25 cm x 30.5 cm)
