A Kandarian dagger from Sam Raimi's Evil Dead II. Archaeologist Raymond Knowby (John Peaks) and his family discovered the Kandarian dagger along with the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis and brought both to the isolated cabin where it was later discovered by Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell).

This Kandarian dagger was custom-made for the film by special effects artist Tom Sullivan. While an earlier iteration of the popular dagger made its first appearance in The Evil Dead, it was its Evil Dead II redesign - with a hilt cast from the first film's dagger - that became the iconic weapon's best-known iteration. Most notably, Evil Dead II introduced the dagger's macabre, spine-like blade, which was sculpted by Sullivan to resemble the tail of the flying Deadite seen when Ash transported back in time.

This dagger from Sullivan's personal collection is made of cast resin painted primarily brown and black with yellow bones attached to the sides of the spine-like blade, as well as a pommel consisting of a small skull and rib cage. It has undergone minor repairs and paint touch-ups since production. It exhibits some dried adhesive residue and one of the side bones is broken.
