A hero light-up Gravity Drive control panel from Paul W.S. Anderson's sci-fi horror film Event Horizon. The spaceship Event Horizon was constructed to test the revolutionary Gravity Drive propulsion system, invented by Dr. Weir (Sam Neill). However, it ultimately created a gateway to hell.

This control panel was seen at the entrance to the Gravity Drive chamber and was used to activate the device. It is constructed primarily of wood and fibreboard, with resin and acrylic detailing, and has been hand-painted to simulate the appearance of solid metal.

The panel has undergone professional restoration following significant water damage. Many of the internal electronics have corroded and are no longer operational, although three bulbs still illuminate when powered via a standard UK three-pin plug. The front panel and several of the original cap nuts are no longer present. The lot is accompanied by the original, water-damaged graphic transparency. Dimensions: 55 cm x 75 cm x 35 cm (21.75" x 29.5" x 13.75")
