A cable-controlled EVE VIII (Renee Soutendijk) bust from the production of Duncan Gibbins' sci-fi action film Eve of Destruction, in which military android EVE VIII went on a killing spree to kidnap the child of its creator, Dr Eve Simmons (also Soutendijk). EVE VIII was finally shot and stabbed to death at the film's climax by Dr Simmons.

This cable-controlled animatronic bust has been intentionally distressed, as EVE VIII was shot twice in the face and then stabbed in the eye. The bust is made of urethane skin over a fibreglass frame. It has faux hair matted with stage blood. Three cables protrude from the base of the bust; these controlled the facial movements on set.

The bust has additional wear from production use and age, including staining, discolouration and tears to the urethane. Dimensions: 17 cm x 37 cm x 45 cm (6.75" x 14.5" x 17.75")
