Cornelius' (Roddy McDowall) Astro boots from Don Taylor's science fiction film sequel Escape from the Planet of the Apes. Cornelius wore futuristic astro boots when he landed on Earth.

These zip-front Crown Bristolite boots (US size Large) are made of leather, rubber, foam, metal, and other assorted fabrics painted white. Also included is a custom-made foam display base painted beige to resemble stone and affixed with a plaque featuring the film's logo. The boots exhibit extensive cracking along the leather and loose rubber portions from production wear and age. Dimensions (displayed): 42 cm x 33.25 cm x 34.5 cm (16.5" x 13" x 13.5")
