Arya's (Sienna Guilleroy) Hero Metal Sword used in the 2006 fantasy adventure film Eragon. The Princess of Ellesmera can be seen with her distinctive sword throughout much of the movie, and is featured posing with it on numerous poster art. It would have been used for close-ups and non-action shots, glinting magnificently in the light.
The smoothly curving and tapering blade is made from bright aluminium, with a moulded resin handle decorated with a bone-like design with a reddish hue and black ribbed grip. It remains in very good condition with scuffs and bumps through sustained through extended use on set, most noticeably on the handle where some resin can be seen. It measures approximately 84cm (33”) long and in a stunning prop from the movie.
