A BTA concept design print from Wolfgang Petersen's 1985 sci-fi drama, Enemy Mine. In the film, fighter pilot Willis E. Davidge (Dennis Quaid) crash lands on an alien planet along with his reptilian opponent, a Drac pilot named Jeriba Shigan (Louis Gossett Jr.). There, they must learn to overcome their hatred of one another in order to survive the harsh terrain and dangerous alien world of Fyrine IV.
The piece consists of a single print of the concept layout of the side view and rear view of the original BTA ship. Shortly after filming for Enemy Mine began, director Wolfgang Petersen was brought on board due to the studio's dissatisfaction with the original director. Petersen designed a BTA of his own and abandoned the design the original ships.
Printed on photo paper, the piece shows minimal signs of wear and remains in great overall condition.
