Valentine Wiggin’s (Abigail Breslin) Costume from Gavin Hood’s 2012 sci-fi adaptation, Ender’s Game. In the film, Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield) is recruited to lead the International Fleet against the alien race known as Formics. This costume was used in both the scene in which Ender returns home from Military School.

This costume consists of a green hooded coat, a custom made forest green cotton sweater with a cream Peter Pan collar, a custom made grey marled wool short skirt, brown flat knit Merona full tights (size small/medium), dark chocolate leather maryjane wedge Tsubo shoes (US size 6.5), a pair of grey heel lifts, a functional dark green satchel with brown straps, and a metal bracelet with an embossed plant design. The coat is detailed with two functional pockets and a “Hero” marking on the inside left shoulder seam. The satchel features two open pockets, a functional front zipper pocket, an adjustable shoulder strap attached by carabiners, a button latch, and a foam piece inside a pocket. The costume includes a wardrobe tag used during production which indicates the character and scene the costume was intended for. This costume shows minor wear due to production use, but remains in great condition.
