Major Gwen Anderson (Viola Davis) Dress Uniform from Gavin Hood’s 2012 sci-fi adaptation, Ender’s Game. In the film, Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield) is recruited to lead the International Fleet against the alien race known as Formics. This costume was made for the scene where Major Anderson and Colonel Graff (Harrison Ford) go to Ender’s house to recruit him for Battle School.

This costume consists of a slate blue jacket, a pair of slate blue pants, a pair of black leather Atilio Giusti Leombruni high heels (EU size 39), a slate blue cap, and a silver colored International Fleet ring . The jacket is detailed with magnetic cuff straps, two faux pockets, a wing insignia and rank bars attached to the upper left portion of the jacket, rank bars on the collar and cuffs, International Fleet insignia on the right shoulder, and rank insignia on the left shoulder a pair of shoulder pads. The pants features a “Hero A” marking on the waist. The hat exhibits an International Fleet insignia and it features an “EC 23” marking. Each shoe is marked “Hero”. The pieces in the costume display minor wear from production, such as loose stitching on the jackets right shoulder pad and a damaged pin on the left cuff rank bar, otherwise the lot remains in great condition.
