A Formic Actuation Stances Diagram from Gavin Hood’s 2012 Sci-Fi adaption Ender’s Game. In the film, Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield) is recruited to lead the International Fleet against the alien race known as Formics. This piece was made for use in the fim’s opening classroom scene.

The piece is made of poster paper adhered to a foamcore backing board. The image features the International Fleet symbol on the top left hand corner along with an annotated frontal view of a Formic soldier and four adjacent profile images of the soldier in various stance. There is minor cosmetic damage consistent with production use including a portion on the right hand corner where the poster’s adhesive is coming loose from the backing board. This piece measures 48” x 58” x 1” (122 cm x 147 cm x 2 cm) and remains in good condition.
