A Lot of Dead Formic Eggs from Gavin Hood’s 2012 sci-fi adaptation, Ender’s Game. In the film, Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield) is recruited to lead the International Fleet against the alien race known as Formics. These pieces were created as set dressing for the scene when Ender meets face to face with the Formic queen.

This pair of eggs is constructed of grey resin and finished with melted plastic pieces stretched along the outside meant to mimic a webbing effect. Both eggs features small holes in the shell, which give a view of a resin Formic fetus attached to the inside wall. These pieces measure roughly 7” x 5” x 4” (18 cm x 13 cm x 10 cm) each and remain in good condition.
