An animatronic baby head used in the 1999 Arnold Schwarzenegger film End of Days. This head was created for the beginning of the film as Christine York is born in 1979 and, recognized as the one chosen to bear Satan's son, is part of a ritual performed by her evil physician Dr. Abel (Udo Kier).
The animatronic head features a silicone exterior over a fiberglass skull. The interior of the skull features numerous mechanical parts designed to make the mouth of the piece move when connected to a power source. The head has been intricately crafted down to the tiniest detail including closed eyes, eyelashes, tiny wrinkles and a large amount of hand punched at top and back. The head measures approximately 4" x 4" (10cm x 10cm) and also includes a small plank of wood for mounting. The piece shows some signs of light wear, but remains in good condition with some light wear.
