Three banners originally displayed at the International Hotel in Las Vegas for one week during Elvis Presley's Summer Festival in 1970. Presley performed 58 headliners, one of two of his engagements at the venue for that year. These styles of banner were shown in Denis Sanders' documentary film Elvis: That's the Way It Is. The lot features a gold-colour "Elvis Summer Festival" banner with the MGM Studios logo, a green "Elvis Summer Festival" banner with The International Hotel logo, and a red "Elvis Big 50 RCA Records" banner promoting Presley's four-LP set "Elvis: Worldwide 50 Gold Award Hits". Each banner is made of satin with white printed text and exhibit minor wear on the top binding, frayed fabric, and minor holes. Dimensions (each): 71 cm x 28.5 cm (28" x 11.25")
