Elizabeth I's (Cate Blanchett) imperial mantle, coronation gown, and jewellery from Shekhar Kapur's historical biopic Elizabeth. The new queen wore her yellow gown and assorted finery at her coronation in 1559. The film was a critical success and received seven Oscar nominations, including Best Picture and Best Actress for Cate Blanchett.

This costume comprises a yellow long-sleeved gown with a stitched-in corset; a matching cape with a faux fur trim; three chains decorated with faux jewels and pearls, to be worn around the neck, chest and waist; and a production-made ruff, added to complete the costume. The gown and cape are decorated with ornate floral patterns, and both are hand-labelled "Angels," having originated from the esteemed costume company. The lot has some wear from production use and age, including some plucking of the stitching and fabric.
