Walter Hobbs' (James Caan) screen-matched "To Dad, Love Buddy" card with a photo from Jon Favreau's Elf. Buddy (Will Ferrell) wrote a card to his father Walter along with a photo of Walter with his ex-girlfriend Susan Wells (Jane Bradbury) and gifted him a festive lingerie set. This card screen-matches to when Walter first read the card in his office by the imperfections in the coloring and writing, smudges on the front, as well as the tape residue on the photo.

Elf was nominated for multiple prestigious awards upon release and was one of 2003's most successful films with more than $220 million in box office receipts. In the years since, it has emerged as a modern Christmas classic, with Buddy widely considered star Ferrell's signature comedic role.

Created by Favreau, the card is made of white cardstock with writings and illustrations rendered in crayons; and a black and white photo of a younger Walter and Susan. The card exhibits crayon residue, as well as minor discoloration. Dimensions: 6" x 9" x 0.25" (15.25 cm x 23 cm x 0.75 cm)
