Ed Sheeran's screen-matched and autographed jacket and worn ensemble pieces from the music video of his 2017 hit, "Shape of You". Holes in the cuffs and distinctive marks on the sleeves screen-match the jacket throughout the video's montage.

The track was the lead single from Sheeran's third studio album, Divide, and achieved worldwide commercial success. While nominated for several prestigious awards, it went on to win the Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance.

The track's music video, in which Sheeran stars, has amassed over 6.5 billion views on YouTube at the time of writing. In the video, Sheeran wears a distressed letterman jacket, a hoodie, fingerless gloves, and a beanie as he trains at a boxing gym, and later appears on a date with a woman he meets there. Included in this lot is the jacket Sheeran wore in the video. The jacket was originally acquired at an auction held by the North Puget Sound Region in February 2018, where it was offered as part of a lot alongside concert tickets and backstage passes. The costume pieces were donated to the auction by the music video director Jason Koenig who stated that Sheeran had left the jacket and other clothing with him after shooting had wrapped. The jacket was subsequently autographed by Sheeran in black ink on the sleeve backstage at a concert. He has also inscribed: "This is the jacket I wore in Shape of You in Seattle 2016".

The jacket is woollen with leather sleeves, which have been intentionally distressed and dirtied to appear congruous with the music video's narrative. The accompanying hoodie is made of cotton and polyester; the fingerless gloves are wool; and the beanie, by Hoax Boarding Co., is made of acrylic yarn.
