This beautiful advance one sheet poster had a smaller print run than the regular release poster and features artwork by John Alvin. This rolled example has been professionally linen-backed and includes expert restoration, which involved sporadic airbrushing along the borders to address small creases, as well as some touch-ups to a few areas. Overall, this rolled and backed poster presents beautifully and showcases one of the more intriguing images from the poster campaign.

Steven Spielberg's E.T. was inspired by an imaginary friend he created after his parents divorced. The movie brought together cinema-goers from all over the world through their love for the empathetic alien creation by Spielberg and writer Melissa Matheson. The viewers were moved to tears when E.T. had to finally go home.
