This lot will be auctioned on Thursday, November 3rd. An E.T. display created by Universal Creative for E.T. Adventure. Developed in collaboration with Steven Spielberg and staged at Universal Studios Florida, Hollywood, and Japan, the attraction took attendees through E.T.'s Green Planet homeworld and restaged the flying bicycle sequence from E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. E.T. Adventure was removed from Universal Studios Hollywood in 2003 and Japan in 2009.

This static, ornately detailed fibreglass statue is hand-painted to appear brown, inset with large blue plastic eyes, and dressed with a blue cotton flannel robe modelled after E.T.'s robe from the film. It comes mounted to a wooden display base. The fibreglass exhibits some fracturing, including around the mouth, and paint scuffing throughout from use. Dimensions: 114.5 cm x 33 cm x 99 cm (45" x 13" x 39")
