US One-Sheet; 68 cm x 103 cm (26.75" x 40.5")
Fine+ Rolled; B.D. Fox & Friends Inc.
Universal, 1982

A "bicycle in the moon" style US one-sheet poster for Spielberg's E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Originally intended by Universal® as the primary image for the film's marketing campaign, this now-iconic design was initially vetoed by Spielberg, who felt it revealed too much of the story. He instead repurposed the imagery as the logo for his production company, Amblin Entertainment. Shortly following the film's enormous success, the design was released as a poster, though it was not widely distributed, making it considerably rarer than the original first-release style. Featuring the magical image of E.T. and Elliott silhouetted against the moon during their airborne bicycle ride, the composition has become one of the most enduring and recognisable visuals in cinema history, perfectly capturing the film's sense of wonder, adventure, and childhood imagination.

Rolled with some handling and edge wear. There's some light scattered staining along the bottom border.
