House Atreides Officer Uniform

An Atreides officers uniform worn in the Emmy award-winning TV mini series Dune. Based on the original novel by Frank Herbert, the mini series tells the story of Paul Atreides (Alec Newman) ascension from the son of Duke Leto Atreides (William Hurt) to becoming emperor of the known universe.

This uniform and others like it were worn by officers within the Atreides defence forces throughout the series, with similar uniforms worn by Duncan Idaho (James Watson) and others on Duke Letos war council. This custom made brown costume consists of a tunic with leather on the elbows, chest and shoulders, with a pair of matching trousers. The tunic opens from the rear, with buttons and faux fastenings running along the spine, and features blue patches with the green eagle of House Atreides on the arms and rank tabs with two faux-gold studs on the shoulder.
In very good condition, the costume features the name of the performer who wore the uniform within, and has no sizes marked.
