Bernie's (Albert Brooks) Rubber Knife

Stock #113095

"A lot of guys mess around with married women, but you're the only one I know who robs a joint just to pay back the husband. Crazy."

Bernie's (Albert Brooks) rubber knife from Nicolas Winding Refn’s 2011 crime drama Drive.

An unnamed stuntman and mechanic (Ryan Gosling) moonlights as a getaway driver and finds himself in deep trouble when he helps out his neighbour.

This knife and others like it were made for the production for the character of Bernie when he picked one up to stab Cook (James Biberi) in the neck. The knife is made of rubber, for the safety of the performers involved, and is painted silver to look like a metal blade.

There is some minor wear from production use, most notably on the tip of the blade where the silver paint is coming away, but overall it remains in an excellent condition.

Materials: Rubber.
