A costume worn in the production of Pete Travis’ dystopian thriller Dredd. Assigned a psychic rookie candidate for field training, Judge Dredd (Karl Urban) and rookie Anderson (Olivia Thirlby) hit the streets of Mega City 1 and soon become embroiled in a deep investigation regarding the illegal drug SLO-MO and brutal gang leader Ma-Ma (Lena Headey).
This costume was worn by the titular Judge as he dispensed his own brand of justice in Mega City 1. The costume is composed of a fibreglass helmet with foam padding within, finished in Dredd’s distinctive black and red scheme (marked Paul Stunt within), a jacket and a matching pair of leather trousers (both labelled “Dredd SI” with Robert Allsopp Associates labels within), a pair of gloves (marked “Dredd Hero 1/Dredd Stunt” and “Dredd Spare” respectively), a set of hero body armour with Dredd’s distinctive judge badge (marked “Dredd 2”), and a pair of leather Judge boots (marked “Dredd 3” within).

A belt set accompanies the costume, comprised of a belt with eagle buckle, a foam stunt Lawgiver in a plastic and fibreglass holster (marked “Lex”), a set of rubber stunt magazine pouches, a set of plastic zipcuffs and holder, a stunt knife, a flashbang pouch with flashbangs, a gas grenade in pouch, a medical pouch and a breech explosive and pouch. A black vest worn beneath the uniform completes the outfit.

Displaying signs of natural wear through use, with signs of production distressing throughout. The adhesive holding the armour plate to the right boot has given way through age along with one side of the medical pouch. The foam of the Lawgiver shows signs of age, with split sections along the forward magazine. A hole has also been drilled in the sole of the left boot for display purposes. However, in spite of this wear, the set remains in overall very good production-used condition. No sizes are marked.
