Alexander Grayson's (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) fight costume and stunt sword from horror-drama TV series Dracula. Grayson wore his costume when he fought vampire hunter Hermann Kruger (Michael Nardone) on the rooftops of London, and wore this style of suit throughout the first few episodes.
The costume comprises a dark grey overcoat with a faux fur collar (labelled "Hero"); a grey three-piece suit; a white shirt; a grey patterned tie; a pair of silver-plated "AG" monogrammed cufflinks; a pair of black leather gloves; and a pair of black leather heeled boots (both labelled "Double"). There are handwritten labels, each reading "Hero", sewn inside the waistcoat and shirt.
Made of dense rubber, the sword features a thin blade and an ornate handle finished to replicate worked ivory, and is sheathed in a black scabbard attached to a leather belt. Some stitching has come undone on the trousers' waistband, and there is an intentional hole on the left shoe's sole. The lot is accompanied by a still of Meyers wearing the costume. Dimensions (sword): 73 cm x 8 cm x 7 cm (28¾" x 3¼" x 2¾"); (still): 25.5 cm x 20.5 cm (10" x 8")
Estimate: £3,000 - 5,000 M
