This rare poster has been autographed by Barbara Stanwyck. It came from the personal collection of Howard Brandy, a Hollywood press agent, and producer.

This bright copy has been professionally restored. Corner pinholes and fold lines have been touched up. The vertical fold below the center horizontal fold had tape on the verso, which was not apparent on the front. There is no paint on the borders.

Co-written by Raymond Chandler with director Billy Wilder, this adaptation of the James M. Cain novella features one of Barbara Stanwyck's most outstanding performances as a woman who plots the murder of her husband to claim accident insurance.
