Original Pre-Production Costume Design Artwork

Stock #10081

A set of pencil and ink concept artwork used in the production of the 2005 shooter Doom, starring Karl Urban and Dwayne Johnson. When a science team goes missing in a research base on Mars, Sarge (Johnson), Reaper (Urban) and the RRTS are sent in to find them. But a terrible secret and inhuman experimentation have created monsters beyond imagining, and they have to do whatever it takes to stop them reaching Earth.

This set of artwork was used to help visualise concepts for costumes worn by the RRTS and the UAC throughout the film. Rendered in pencil and black ink on white paper, the images show concepts for futuristic jumpsuit costumes for UAC personnel, including a design for Sam Grimm (Rosamund Pike), as well as various concepts for tactical gear, protective equipment and uniform concepts for the RRTS marines. Some of the images have the text “Studio Gilet” written at the top right, with all of the images mounted on sheets of grey card.

Well used on the production, the artwork has some small roughing at the edges but remains in good production-used condition, with the largest piece of artwork measuring 50cm x 35cm (20” x 13.75”).
