A pair of clapperboards from the production of the BBC sci-fi television series Doctor Who.

Both clapperboards are made of acrylic and have wooden clappers. The production name "Doctor Who II" and the names of the director (James Hawes) and cameraman (Ernie Vincze) are written on both in black marker. Each clapperboard features the date of its last use: "22.07.05" on the smaller board, and "23-08-05" on the larger board, meaning both were used in filming the initial two episodes of the second series, which introduced David Tennant as The Doctor. Both clapperboards exhibit surface scratching. The larger one features faded writing designating the slate number ("55"), take number ("2") and roll number ("93"). The clapper on the smaller board is removable. Dimensions: 32.5 cm x 38.5 cm x 5 cm (15" x 12.5" x 3.5")
