A collection of Reconnaisance Dalek components from the 2019 New Years Day special episode of the revived sci-fi television series Doctor Who, titled 'Resolution'. The Reconnaissance Dalek was a scout sent to Earth to gather data ahead of a Dalek invasion, which was divided into three pieces in the 9th Century, one of which was dug up by archaeologists Lin (Charlotte Ritchie) and Mitch (Nikesh Patel) in 2019.
Included in this lot are four disassembled sections of a Dalek, including a full skirt, a head, a "chest," and an interstitial piece. The skirt is made of metal, while the rest of the pieces are made of resin and wood, and each has been detailed to look like rusted metal. The chest has holes for arms, though no arms are present, and the head has a hole for a stalk, though again no stalk is present. The head is also missing its antennae. The interstitial piece features 4 wooden dowels. Each piece features deliberate distressing. Dimensions (skirt): 87 cm x 132 cm x 132 cm (34.25" x 52")
