Vintage tele-snaps from the lost Doctor Who serial The Power of the Daleks. Tele-snaps were photographs of British TV broadcasts, which were taken and sold by John Cura from 1947 - 1969. Many tele-snaps are believed to have been destroyed in the subsequent years. This collection originated from the family of Doctor Who director Christopher Barry, and shows the completely missing series four serial The Power of the Daleks, which featured the Second Doctor (Patrick Troughton).

The lot features six sheets with strips of still images from each of the six episodes in the series; six strips of still images with at least two images on each strip; and 45 individual images, 39 of which feature Cura's stamp on the back and a handwritten number. Dimensions: (each page) 13" x 8" (33 cm x 20.5 cm)
