This lot will be auctioned on Saturday, November 5th. A "steam" canister and tags from Mike Flanagan's horror sequel Doctor Sleep. The True Knot, a cult of psychics led by Rose the Hat (Rebecca Ferguson), collected "steam" in canisters by torturing and killing people who have the Shining, and used this essence to extend their lives. Rose breathed in steam to heal her wounds before the climactic fight against Danny (Ewan McGregor) and Abra (Kyliegh Curran).

The canister is made of resin painted to look like metal. It is fixed in an "open" position, with the valves at the top extended outwards. It is accompanied by two fabric tags decorated with religious imagery, which were placed around the tops of the canisters by the cultists, and represented trophies from their victims. The canister has minor scratches and the tags are slightly faded. Dimensions: 10 cm x 10 cm x 21 cm (4" x 4" x 8 1/4")
