Dr. King Schultz’s (Christoph Waltz) stunt pistol from the production of Quentin Tarantino’s 2012 western, Django Unchained.

Django (Jamie Foxx) is a slave freed by a German bounty hunter Dr. Schultz (Waltz) because he can help identify three of Schultz’s targets. In exchange, Schultz agrees to try and free Django’s wife Broomhilda (Kerry Washington) from the brutal Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio).

This pistol was made for the production and is a stunt stand-in for Schultz’s real revolver which he carries and uses throughout the film. The gun is made of a hardened rubber and hand painted to look as detailed and lifelike as possible. It even includes a serial number on the side of the barrel.

The gun shows some minor wear from production use, most notably scratches and scuffs along the barrel and on the grip. There are a couple of small areas on the grip where the rubber has chipped away. Despite this the piece remains in an excellent production-used condition.
