This lot consists of 18 lobby cards from classic Walt Disney films. One of the cards is from "Fantasia" (1940), specifically scene card #3, which is from the film's 1946 re-release. It features Mickey Mouse in the famous "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" sequence. The card is unrestored and shows signs of wear, including pinholes, corner creases, and sporadic border wear, along with creases. It has been graded as Fine. Included in this lot is a complete set of eight lobby cards from "Darby O'Gill and the Little People" (1959). These cards are also unrestored and may exhibit pinholes and/or staple holes, edge tears that have been reinforced with tape on the back, tiny edge nicks, corner and/or border creases, and light smudges. The card featuring Sean Connery and Janet Munro shows more wear than the others, with small creases present in the image area. This set has been graded as Fine. Lastly, there is a complete set of nine lobby cards from "Alice in Wonderland" (R-1974), which includes one title lobby card and eight scene cards. All are unrestored, being in outstanding condition. However, one card does display a small interior crease. This set has been graded as Very Fine+.
"Fantasia" is an animated musical anthology film produced by Walt Disney Productions. The film features eight animated segments paired with classical music. Seven of these pieces are performed by the Philadelphia Orchestra, conducted by Leopold Stokowski. "Alice in Wonderland "is an animated musical fantasy comedy featuring the voices of Ed Wynn, Richard Haydn, and Sterling Holloway. "Darby O'Gill and the Little People" is a fantasy adventure film based on the Darby O'Gill stories by Herminie Templeton Kavanagh. Directed by Robert Stevenson, the film stars Albert Sharpe as Darby O'Gill, alongside Janet Munro, Sean Connery, and Jimmy O'Dea.
