John McClane's (Bruce Willis) distressed costume from John McTiernan's Die Hard With a Vengeance. McClane's signature costume was increasingly distressed as he defused a series of deadly terrorist attacks initiated across New York by Hans Gruber's (Alan Rickman) terrorist brother Simon (Jeremy Irons).

This costume consists of a handwoven green and white checkered cotton blend Imported Fabric brand short-sleeve shirt; a white cotton tank-top; beige cotton Ralph Lauren pants; green and white striped elasticized cotton Gap briefs; a brown leather belt; and a pair of white cotton socks. The set is intentionally distressed by production to appear damaged in various fights, with tearing on the tank and pants, cracking to the leather, and sweat and grime stains throughout the costume. The costume also exhibits some creasing to internal labels and grime in the pockets from production.
