John McClane's (Bruce Willis) screen-matched costume from John McTiernan's action-thriller sequel Die Hard with a Vengeance. McClane wore his costume throughout the film, though it became more damaged and distressed as the action intensified.

The placement of some of the markings on the trousers screen match them to the scene in which McClane and Zeus (Samuel L. Jackson) solved the water jug task. There are also marks and staining on the back of the vest that screen match to the moment McClane searched henchmen Mischa (Mischa Hausserman) and Erik's (Phil Theis) bodies near their wrecked truck. The minor distressing on the shirt indicates it was used earlier in the film, before McClane jumped on the train.

The costume consists of a beige-and-white plaid cotton Barneys New York button-up shirt (size "M"); an off-white tank top; and a pair of khaki Ralph Lauren chinos. Also included is a wardrobe tag, on which the film's title is handwritten alongside "Bruce Willis, Plaid Shirt, White Tank Top, Khaki Pants, Green + White Boxers". The lot exhibits additional staining and wear from production use.
