Simon Gruber's (Jeremy Irons) screen-matched, light-up "Simon Says" bomb case from John McTiernan's Die Hard with a Vengeance. Gruber - the brother of Die Hard villain Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman) - terrorized the NYPD by placing bombs around New York City set to go off if his instructions were not heeded. Distinctive points of wear on this case and such components as its circuit board and cylinders screen-match to the sequence in which it was discovered by police and used to demonstrate its potential explosivity in the NYPD office.

This black hard plastic shell case originated from Cinergi. It features a gray interior with fastening strips and cable wires marked "Computer"; two pairs of acrylic canisters - the larger of which are filled with liquid - connected to each other with cables; a metal tube with a protruding cable; two wiring boxes; a circuit board; two plastic canister holders; a plastic syringe; and a plastic remote control. Red lights and orange strips on top of the larger wiring box are designed to light up when the cables are connected to a 9V battery. The case exhibits glue residue as well as liquid staining on the interior from production. Dimensions: (largest) 18" x 14" x 6" (45.75 cm x 35.75 cm x 15.25 cm)
