Dexter Morgan's (Michael C. Hall) SFX scalpel and straight razor from James Manos, Jr.'s Dexter. Dexter, a forensic technician for the Miami Metro Police Department, hunted fellow serial killers with his blood spatter analysis instruments throughout the series, including when he tortured Mike Donovan (Jim Abele) with his scalpel in the series premiere episode "Dexter."

This lot comes from the collection of renowned special effects artist Tom "Brooklyn" Bellissimo. It consists of a stainless steel Thermo Electron 745 surgical scalpel and a steel Magic straight razor, both with clear plastic SFX blood pipettes glued to their undersides. Both instruments exhibit adhesive and blood residue, while the razor's pipette has come loose. Dimensions: (largest) 24.25 cm x 1 cm x 3.25 cm (9.5" x 1.25" x 0.25")

Blades were dulled by production.
