One of the most collectable of all Tom Chantrell's Quad posters for Hammer during his period (1965-70) as their resident poster designer and illustrator. "The Devil Rides Out" (1968) presents a dramatic horned demon image embellished with a striking colourful title script. Somehow the unlikely combination of orange, purple, yellow and black works. Issued on first release with Day-Glo and regular coloured title inks, this is the non-Day-Glo version. Hammer's traditional style is evident throughout in a story of an insidious satanic cult that was very much in tune with the current cinematic trend being made at the same time as Roman Polanski's "Rosemary's Baby".

Condition: Fair to Good

Unrestored, folded (as issued). Noticeable fold line wear with some splits, tears and paper loss to the fold lines, cross fold areas and edges (some enlarged) and scattered around the edges and corners with tape residue staining. Overall this presents (as is) to good effect.
