Simon Phoenix's (Wesley Snipes) light-up Magnetic Accelerator casing for a blank-firing firearm from Marco Brambilla's Demolition Man. Former cryogenically frozen psychopath Phoenix wielded his futuristic particle beam rifle during his shootout with John Spartan (Sylvester Stallone) and the San Angeles Police Department at a museum.
Phoenix's Magnetic Accelerator was created using this casing, copied from a real-world prototype H&K G11 rifle, installed around an existing firearm modified to fire blanks for the production. Additional high-tech modifications, including a laser sight and expanded barrel, were also added. As the G11 was considered experimental and never entered full production, Demolition Man is believed to represent its one and only appearance in a fiction film.
Originating from the personal collection of prop master Mike Papac, this futuristic rifle features a fiberglass clamshell casing stamped with the H&K manufacturer's details on one side and a "fusion power supply" box mounted on the right. The lights on the rifle are activated by a pair of switches both mounted on top of the gun, under the back of the scope. The first switch turns on the two LEDs at the back and the three on the side. The second switch turns on the strip of LEDs which indicate the "Acc-Mag" is reactivated.
Following production, it underwent sympathetic restoration to return functionality to its electronics. The casing exhibits cracking around the trigger, discoloration and flaking to its all-black paint finish, and nicking to its sight from production use and handling. Dimensions: 29.5" x 12.5" x 3.5" (75 cm x 31.75 cm x 9 cm)

Estimate: $2,500 - 5,000
Mike Papac is among Hollywood's most respected armourers. Active in the film industry since the late 1970s, he served as weapons specialist on action classics including Lethal Weapon and Die Hard, and as property gun master for Predator - all within an 18-month span. By the early 1990s, Papac had become a trusted resource for leading directors such as Tony Scott, Renny Harlin, and Richard Donner, collaborating throughout the decade with stars including Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger. His career has encompassed work as prop master and armourer on some of cinema's most successful franchises, from Iron Man and Man of Steel to acclaimed action comedies like Three Kings and Red. Original hero pieces from the Die Hard films are exceptionally rare, and Propstore is proud to present these examples from Mike Papac's personal collection - offered to the public for the first time.
