Roy Nord's (Viggo Mortensen) climbing harness with Chief Dennis Wilson's (Mark Rolston) equipment vest and New York First Responder's spot light from Rob Cohen's Daylight. Extreme sport Sports celebrity Nord donned his harness in preparation of trying to exit through a mid-river passage, only to later die after the passage collapsed. Earlier, Chief Wilson wore his vest as he oversaw rescue efforts and eventually climbed into an unstable tunnel, which also collapsed and killed him. Throughout the film, first responders carried spot lights as they aided the disaster victims, as well as the survivors inside the collapsed tunnel.
This lot originates from Planet Hollywood. It consists of a webbed nylon climbing harness with two attached flashlights, a webbed nylon cargo vest with a "Wilson" name badge on the back, and a plastic and metal spot light featuring a hand-marked adhesive label on the back for "'C' battery convert use only if floating needed." The harness shows brown discoloration throughout. Dimensions: (spot light) 14.5" x 10" x 5" (37 cm x 25 cm x 12.75 cm)
