A limited edition fine art photographic print featuring an image of David Bowie taken by photographer Jorgen Angel. The shot was taken during Bowie's show at the Falkoner Centre in Copenhagen in April 1976 as part of his Isolar Tour. This tour was during his "Thin White Duke" era, with the persona being modelled on the alien character he placed in the film "The Man Who Fell to Earth". This lot is part of the Rockarchive Collection.

This giclee print is from a limited edition of 100 and shows a close-up shot of Bowie on stage and is presented on archival 310gsm cotton-based rag paper. It is hand-numbered "2/100" and signed by Angel in pencil. Dimensions: 42 cm x 29.5 cm (16.5" x 11.5")

Additional provenance:

This lot comes from the Rockarchive Collection, founded by acclaimed music photographer Jill Furmanovsky in 1998. Rockarchive now comprises an impressive collection of over 1000 images by more than 100 photographers and graphic designers, allowing fans and collectors to purchase limited-edition prints featuring music's most established artists. This lot is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity co-signed by Jill Furmanovsky.
