An artist's proof print of David Bowie rehearsing at the Hanover Grand, London in 1997 signed by the photographer Scarlet Page.

Bowie played two intimate warm-up shows at the Hanover Grand to an audience of just 720 before embarking on his Earthling tour where he played festivals and stadiums. This artist's proof is printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm paper, is labelled "AP" and signed by Page in pencil. Dimensions: 71 cm x 56 cm (28" x 22")

Scarlet Page recalls:

"This photograph was taken as part of his rehearsals for his 50th birthday tour. David was incredible to work with and the way he was so respectful of me as a photographer was something that made me feel most nervous. A gentleman in every respect."

With a career spanning three decades, Scarlet Page is one of the UK's most respected music photographers who has worked with numerous artists including Foo Fighters, Placebo, Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Rolling Stones. Her documentary style reportage and trust from her subjects allows her to capture intimate and iconic moments from the world's biggest musicians. She is a Nikon ambassador as well as a judge for the Abbey Road Music Photography Awards and continues to have her work exhibited worldwide.
