Roland's (Idris Elba) costume, stunt horn and flask from Nikolaj Arcel's fantasy adventure film The Dark Tower. Based on the works by Stephen King, the last gunslinger (Elba) fights to prevent the Man in Black (Matthew McConaughey) from bringing down the Dark Tower, which holds the universe together. Roland wears his costume throughout the film.
The costume consists of a coat, shirt, vest, pants and an ascot. The long coat is made of leather and has two interior pockets. The white long-sleeved shirt is made of cotton and has buttons running down the front. The vest is gray and features four buckles along the front and ribbed panels on the sides. The dark gray pants are made of denim and have clip and button fasteners. A copper-colored ascot completes the costume.
Also included with the costume are a stunt version of the Horn of Eld, an ancient horn that summons fellow Gunslingers for help in battle, as well as a flask. The grey urethane horn has rubber bands around the outside with a black foam interior. The flask is a matching dark grey with a dark green sealed urethane cap. The horn is in good overall condition with some production damage, urethane scuffing on the side, and minor rips in the tip of the horn. The flask has small gold paint scratches on the side and cap.
All pieces show signs of wear made during production, but the set remains in very good overall condition.
