Created by Jon Smith in 2009 this super rare print represents one of the strangest and most random convergences of two pieces of classic art in pop culture history as it floats the idea that the Wizard of Oz movie serves as a video companion piece to Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" Album. The theory goes that if you start playing the album as the MGM lion roars for the first time on screen, the songs and the video appear to sync up in eerie and mysterious ways during several sequences. Hippy nonsense or just coincidental? It became known as 'The Dark Side of the Rainbow' and it is this Mondo poster from 2009 that was issued to coincide with a TV special. Signed by the artist and hand-numbered #18 from a print run of only 35 with glow-in-the-dark inks used for the title, moon terrain and stars.
