The Joker's (Heath Ledger) hero live-fire Glock pistol from Christopher Nolan's Academy Award-winning superhero movie The Dark Knight. The psychopathic Joker used his pistol throughout the film as he inflicted chaos upon Gotham City, however this pistol was only used for his final meeting with the scarred Dent in his Gotham General Hospital room, which was filmed in the UK. It was rented to the production by armourers Bapty.

The pistol is a Glock 17, converted to replicate the Glock 18's select-fire function. Exhibiting a custom two-tone finish, the pistol consists of a black polymer frame and is fitted with a metal slide which was silvered to match the weapons used during the US portion of the filming. Marked with the serial number "GTE538", it features a rough textured grip, a 30-round removable magazine and a threaded barrel to accommodate the accompanying suppressor. The weapon has been modified to fire blank ammunition. Dimensions (silencer attached): 40 cm x 3 cm x 25 cm (15.75" x 1.25" x 10")

This lot is categorised as Section 5 under UK law and is not currently deactivated; it will likely need to be deactivated, at buyer's expense, prior to shipping. It may be possible to transfer without deactivation depending on the buyer's licenses, although please note it is a fully automatic pistol.
