The head and ferrule of a Skeksis staff from Jim Henson's and Frank Oz's The Dark Crystal. The evil lizard-like creatures carried staffs in various scenes throughout the film as they used a powerful crystal to hold the power throughout Thra and attempted to stop young Gelfling Jen (Jim Henson) from retrieving a missing shard that would restore the crystal to its original powers, removing the Skeksis from power.

This lot consists of a "patina" color painted resin coated metal staff head with a red resin gem in the center; and a gray sculpted resin staff ferrule with spikes protruding from the sides. This lot exhibits chipped and cracked resin pieces on the head exposing the metal under interior. Dimensions: (largest) 8.5" x 6.5" x 2" (21.75 cm x 16.5 cm x 5 cm)
