A collection of Dante's Peak city component model miniatures with three screening invitations from Roger Donaldson's Dante's Peak. USGS volcanologist Harry Dalton (Pierce Brosnan) was assigned to investigate the seismic activity near the town of Dante's Peak Washington, located near a dormant stratovolcano. After all of his initial warnings were ignored by his superior, the volcano eventually erupted and threw the town into a state of emergency with hazards, as well as an encroaching pyroclastic flow that would destroy the town.
This lot consists of seven model miniature components including a street lamp, two hanging lights, a chair marked "Fuck Volcano!" on the bottom, a picket fence, a wire trash can, and a wood barrel. Also included are three screening invitations dated for "Thursday, February 6, 1997" at the Universal Amphitheatre. The lights have undergone sympathetic restoration to reattach the bulbs to the shades. These components exhibit discoloration, cracks, and adhesive residue, while the invitations exhibit creasing and a notable rip in one.
