Original Production Art depicting the book cover of 'The Craft' from Andrew Fleming's 1996 Wiccan horror film, The Craft. In the film, new student Sarah (Robin Tunney) finds friendship among a coven of young witches who are hell bent on strengthening their powers.
This artwork was created for the book purchased by Sarah as the coven visits a magic shop where they are warned about the dangers of invoking spirits. This rendering has been printed on card stock, and features the back and front cover side-by-side. The background, which is a deep purple, has the book's title printed in white and surrounded by an ornate border made of interconnecting vases. The back cover is a mirror image with the text in reverse. At the top of the computer rendering is the text "The Craft Cover 4/28/95 10:58 AM Page 1." This production made rendering measures approximately 11" x 17" (43cm x 28cm) and is in excellent condition with only minor marks on the paper due to production use and age.
