Pair of Conehead Masks

Our expert's notes

A pair of Conehead masks from Steve Barron's Coneheads. In the climactic finale, an audience of cone-headed Remulakians - including some with noticeably wrinkled foreheads - watched as Beldar Conehead (Dan Aykroyd) was sentenced to fight the fearsome Garthok for treason against his race.
Coneheads was the feature-film adaptation of the wildly popular recurring sketch from Saturday Night Live, which was created by and starred Aykroyd. While the lovable aliens are colloquially known as "Coneheads," their true species name is Remulakians.
This pair of peach-color slip latex Remulakian masks with cone-shaped tips originates from Planet Hollywood. One mask is textured with wrinkles on its forehead and applied with synthetic blonde eyebrows, while the other features strands of synthetic black eyebrows. Both show evidence of intentional production distressing together with wear consistent with on-set use, handling, and age.
