A Stapled Wall Corpse used in Marcus Dunstan's 2012 horror sequel, The Collection. In the film, Arkin (Josh Stewart) escapes from the vicious grips of the serial killer known as 'The Collector,' but is unwillingly drawn back to the Collector's lair when he is blackmailed into rescuing an innocent girl from the killer's booby-trapped warehouse.
This monstrous creation can be briefly seen in the Collector's (Randall Archer) display room, as Arkin first encounters the submerged displayed and a woman stapled to a wall. While it may be hard to see in the film, this piece can be clearly seen in the special features located on the films home release. Made from both foam rubber and foam latex, this creation displays four severed arms and four severed legs that have been nailed around a headless torso. The piece is incredibly detailed and has been textured with stage blood and glossy paint, allowing corpse to reflect light as though they are still dripping wet. Attached to the creation in numerous locations are plastic tubes and medical appliances that were once connected to an IV drip.
This item features notable wear from production use, particularly to the back side of each piece as it was glued to a wall. When turned over, glue residue can still be found in the areas that have lifted the original paintwork. There is also a break in one of the legs where the foam interior can be easily seen (see photos). When laid out as seen in the film, this item measures approximately 9" x 80" x 64" (23cm x 203cm x 163cm) and remains in overall good condition.
