A human body skin from Ron Howard’s 1985 sci-fi drama Cocoon. In the film, a group of elderly trespassers swim in a pool containing alien cocoons, and suddenly find themselves feeling younger. Made of a stretchy urethane, the Antarean aliens shed their human skin disguises while inserting cocoon’s into their pool. The life-size skin includes hand-punched hair throughout, and features realistic skin tones to match the actor’s appearance. The face includes acrylic eyes and an open mouth. This lot shows some wear due to production use and age, with several cuts to the silicone which has cracked in certain areas. This piece remains in otherwise good condition.
